Well, we enjoyed the Beer Garden Party on the 18th July. We were lucky with the weather – there had been some heavy rain in some areas of Kyoto in the afternoon, but by the evening it was mostly just cloudy (and hot, of course!). Actually there was a spot of rain (just a little) while we were all eating and drinking, but not enough to dampen the spirits (make people unhappy). Because we always reserve the seating under cover, we didn’t really get wet.
Anyway, we had a total of 60 people this year – a record – and lots of food was eaten and drinks were drunk. But, more importantly, lots of laughs were had with friends!
If you couldn’t come this year, we hope to see you next year! Maybe we can get 70 people!!
