The order of adverbs of frequency is as follows:
(0%) Never – Hardly ever/Rarely – Seldom – Occasionally – Sometimes – Often/Frequently – Normally/Generally – Usually – Almost always – Always (100%)
Example: I usually eat rice for dinner. I sometimes have chicken and I occasionally have beef. I always drink wine! I normally have a dessert, but I never eat ice cream.
We can also use time phrases:
once a week, every day, three times a month, two or three times a year, most days, twice an hour, every 3 months, every 8 hours.
Examples: I watch TV every evening. / He usually goes shopping three times a week. / I ski three or four times every winter. / I have to take medicine once every 4 hours.
